Indian NGO registration T-523/97.
SISP was set up by three individuals in 1996 to address the needs of the
very poorest of people in villages such as Vizhinjam in Kerala, a southern
state of India.
SISP helps to improve the quality of life by offering: free education;
training in self-support; saving schemes (micro credit unions); financial
aid for medical treatment and care; food, education and substitute income
for would-be child labourers.
SISP cooperates very closely with local care workers and authorities.
