The ceiling has now been cast and, after being allowed to cure, all the supporting struts have been removed. The electrical cabling and fittings have been purchased and are now being installed. Sufficient mains outlets will be provided for all the devices we are likely to connect. We will soon be able to start the final rendering and finishing-off. On top of the roof the bricks have been piled up in preparation for building a low wall so that the children (and adults!) will be able to walk around safely on the roof. Word has it that the architect has said that the building will be ready for occupation on June 10 (2008!). "Everything will be finished perfectly" he says. Werner also writes: "The last temperatures that I've taken, today at 13.12 pm, was 32.1 °C in the shade here inside and outside in the sun was meanwhile 41.9 °C!"
