There are very few people on site; everything seems to be very calm. Only the painters remain working. They are finishing off the screens around the staircase. Using, so it appears, an improvised ladder, they are applying yellow paint to the upper parts of the screen. At the back of the building a ladder is leaning against the wall because there should also be some plastering going on. The kitchen is mostly finished. The tiles are fixed to the wall, the worksurface is ready and the doors of the cupboards have been painted. There is still a substantial amount of cleaning to be done and then, perhaps, we'll be ready? |
