Finishing takes a lot of time |
6th February, 2008 |
The entrance to the school is strengthened with pieces of stone hardcore as it will be surfaced in a few days time. Because the new ground level is lower than the original, a wall has had to be built around the roots of one of the palm trees. Along the pathway a large stone needs to be excavated and cut away. On the first floor the main hall has been almost entirely tiled. It is a big space with a lot of light. The floor tiles are being laid in the toilets and the drainage is being excavated. The painters promise that the waterproof coating will be applied tomorrow and the architect has promised that the works will be ready by February 21 - this is exciting! |
