Quite a bit of progress has been made in the last few days. Some of the walls of the second floor have already reached one metre in height.

The floor of the second storey is wetted to slow down the hardening of the concrete and will eventually make it stronger.

Also, the newly laid brick walls are covered with wet hessian sacking to protect against the violent sun and to slow down the drying of the mortar between the bricks and the pointing.

On the ground floor props have been positioned to make raised platforms to allow the ceilings to be finished.
