The plasterers set to work |
17th October, 2007 |

The labourers have started work again. At this moment all inner walls are being plastered and therefore a lot of sand needs to be sifted to a fine grade in order to finish everything nicely. And just like here, lunch parcels are brought from home. Probably no slices of bread, but rice and several curries. You can see that the sun has started to shine! In India everyone works in the clothes that they leave home in. Therefore there is no protective clothing, and obviously no steel toe-capped shoes as all work seems to be carried out with bare feet. And is that wet mortar being produced there on the roof of the second floor? Have they started building the walls of the first floor after all?! |
